All adult students 21 years and over are covered by the DECD Adult Education Policy. This policy states that all adult students enrolling at DECD schools are doing so in order to complete the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). Adult students will have a designated SACE Pathways Plan and have up to five years to complete the SACE.

What does this mean at Christies Beach High School?

Adult students aged twenty years or older on 1 January of the year of enrolment can enrol to study in mainstream SACE classes. Adult students will be identified by wearing an adult student lanyard and will be expected to abide by the school's Code of Conduct as for all other CBHS continuing students.

Adult re-entry students who attend a local school are required to have a National Criminal History Screening Check as a condition for enrolment.
